In 2004, she gave prestige to our Bohol Lions when she represented our Tagbilaran City Host Lions Club in the Cebu tilt (February 2005, Casino Filipino, Waterfront Hotel-Lahug, Cebu City) where she won the Miss Photogenic, Best in Gown and Best in Swimsuit awards, but was "deprived" of the Miss Lions crown after the organizers learned she was not anymore a first-timer to beauty pageants. Also, I had the chance to be with her when she won the Miss Bohol Sandugo 2005 (July 2005, Bohol Wisdom School Gymnasium, Tagbilaran City) title as I was member of the working committee of last year's pageant. For the record, half of me is Panglaoanon because my Papa Rep is a Panglaoanon himself (both his parents, Demetrio Araoarao and Clotilde Bongoyan, are from Panglao) and he had also served as mayor of Panglao from 1980 to 1986.
